Ventilation

There are a number of options to choose from to ensure a constant supply of healthy fresh air in your home.

Good ventilation is essential for the proper enjoyment of your home, providing fresh air,  reducing the concentrations of potentially harmful pollutants within your home such as carbon monoxide and radon accumulation and minimising issues with moisture in the air.

There are a number of options to choose from to ensure a constant supply of healthy fresh air in your home.

Demand Control Ventilation
As the name suggests this system controls the amount of fresh air entering your home in accord with the requirements or demand at any point in time.

This in turn helps the efficiency of your heating system and protects against humidity and condensation.

The system automatically adjusts the air inflow rates in response to changes in conditions such as number of occupants, cooking etc. In this way the system helps save energy as the number of air changes is low when the need for ventilation is low thereby saving having to continuously heat fresh air but provides greater ventilation during activities such as cooking or bathing.

Positive Input Ventilation
Positive input Ventilation using systems such as Drimaster helps eliminate condensation, mold, foggy windows and other moisture related problems.

The system gently provides fresh and filtered air to your entire home introducing the fresh air at a continuous controlled rate thereby encouraging movement of staler air from the inside out resulting in a fresh and healthy environment throughout your home.

Heat Recovery Ventilation
Heat Recovery Ventilation also referred to as Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery is an energy efficient ventilation and heating system suitable for new and retrofit properties.

The system recovers 60-95% of the heat from the exhaust air during ventilation and significantly improves the energy efficiency of your home.

The system provides filtered fresh air to living areas such as bedrooms, dining rooms, living rooms while extracting sstale moist air from ‘wet’ areas such as kitchen and bathrooms, but before exhausting the stale air it extracts the heat from it and uses this heat to warm the incoming fresh air.

Natural Ventillation
The simplest and the cheapest form of ventilation, natural ventilation will reduce moisture issues and provide free cooling in summer months. Natural ventilation can consist of vent ducy=ts, vent grills, trickle vents on windows or simple leaving a window slightly open.
